The work Konak is an old Turkish word meaning "Luxurious Mansion" and these are not just words with no meaning. It is not the most expensive restaurant in Alderley edge and it certainly won't be the most star studded on a Friday night however it does offer sophisticated Turkish food in beautiful surroundings for a reasonable price.
